The best Mop and vacuum combo robot Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or two thorough maps of your area to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's clutter that must be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're away from home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of features that you do not often find on robots in this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The center of the control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
